ENVIRONMENTAL OBJECTIVES

These objectives of the environmental functions of JRL are to:

• To proactively identify and mange potential environmental issues in JRL operations.
• To manage JRL environmental issues in a professional, responsible, cost effective and timely manner.
• To comply with statutory requirements and strive towards best practices.
• To demonstrate transparency on environmental issues.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Environmental hazard has caused a lot of illness and death to many people in the past decade. The danger this problem poses to the good health, safety of the populace and other habitat such as Animal, Aquatic and plants makes Jerukeno to take a conscious effect in its daily activities to minimize the problem of environmental pollution.

Thus, JERUKENO
1. Has a systematic approach to HSE management designed to ensure compliance with the law and to achieve continuous performance improvement.
2. Set targets for improvement and measure, appraisal and reports performance.
3. Require her subcontractor to manage HSE in line with the policy.
4. To include HSE performance in the appraisal of all staff and rewards accordingly.
5. To provide the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets.
